Meet Our Staff
Maria Mainolfi, MD is board certified by the American Board of Preventive Medicine and is a member of the American College of Preventive Medicine. She received her M.D. from the University Of Maryland School Of Medicine and her MPH from University of South Florida. She has worked as an Occupational Medicine Physician in New York and now locally in Maryland. She has a passion for Occupational Medicine and has taken on leadership roles including managing a multi-site occupational clinic in Maryland.
Dr. Mainolfi is a certified Independent Medical Examiner and Medical Review Officer. She performs Independent Medical Evaluations, Workability Evaluations, Medical Record Reviews, Fit for Duty Examinations, Physicals, Travel Medicine, and Immigration Exams. She has a wonderful rapport for employers and clients alike. She is known for settling cases and professionally managing the intricate working of modern Post-Covid workplaces.


Gregory Best is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner. As a family nurse practitioner, he has been trained to treat the whole family, from infancy to the elderly. That means he can assess, diagnose, treat, and educate many conditions that present to the clinic. He is a veteran of the United States Army. He began his career in health care as a Certified Nursing Assistant in 2006. He completed his Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Fayetteville State University in 2008. He completed his Master of Science in Nursing at The University of Cincinnati in 2013. Gregory has 7 years of experience in Occupational Medicine and Urgent care medicine. Gregory is DOT Certified as a Medical Examiner and BLS certified.
Gregory enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He also enjoys watching football, basketball and Precepting.
Amir Khodabandelou, PA-C is an Assistant Medial Director at Occupational Medical Services. He is a board-certified Physician Assistant with over 15 years of experience practicing Occupational Medicine. He received his undergraduate from the University of Maryland, College Park with a B.S. in Biology. He graduated from the AACC/UMB PA Program and received his Masters of Medical Science from Saint Francis University. Amir has a keen interest in nutrition, musculoskeletal and sports medicine. Further, he enjoys teaching and mentoring as a clinical preceptor for PA/NP students.
Mr. Khodabandelou believes in providing the highest quality standard of care to each one of his patients. He focuses on developing personalized treatment plans to curb occupational illness and injury and get employees back to work in a timely manner.
